The Arctic Data Center accepts and publishes data from all disciplines, including social sciences. We support all researchers working in the Arctic, and have curated data and resources specific to Arctic social sciences. Data can include quantitative or qualitative information such as survey responses, interview transcripts, observations, focus group discussions, community-based research, and much more. These resources pertain to concerns specific to social science research, as well as general ethical data concerns relevant for all Arctic research.
Social Science Data Portal
While social science datasets are still accessible through our regular data catalog, this dedicated data portal provides a convenient way for researchers, collaborators, or other users to find all social science datasets at the Arctic Data Center. The portal automatically updates when new social science data is added, and includes data from social science disciplines including but not limited to; anthropology, archaeology, economics and sociology.
