Module 3 - Overview

In this module you will be guided through the climate scientists methods, examples of previous and current research being undertaken in Nunavut and the Arctic Region, in the search for information spanning sea ice levels, microbes and the impacts of global warming on our Region.

Module Outcomes

Understand the science of climate change including key scientific concepts and the Arctic climate
Understand the importance and requirement to work with Inuit and communities in research affecting them and their lives
Gain an understanding of the key physical impacts that are affecting the land, ice and humans in the Arctic Region
Consider some of the physical health impacts on Northern residents due to climate change
