Energy Efficiency Measures in Nunavut

As a key Nunavut stakeholder, Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) is committed to reducing its dependence on fossil fuels through energy conservation in Nunavut. In collaboration with government and communities they have set out a number of initiatives to help individual residents and small businesses move toward energy efficient behaviours, choices and decision-making to adopt cost efficient technologies.

Energy Wise Program

Energy Wise Canada is about saving energy today to make a better Nunavut for now and tomorrow. Energy Wise Canada is a joint effort between Qulliq Energy Corporation, Nunavut Housing Corporation, Climate Change Secretariat, and Nunavummiut residents and business owners.  Using the Energy Wise Nunavut Facebook page, the partners raise awareness of individual behavioural changes in energy use can save energy, save money, and help protect our environment.
